Hello families!
Next week we will be celebrating christmas with fun celebrations, parties, and a pajama day! See below for details. Important Dates: Tuesday, 12/17: Christmas Show @ 10:30 (Children should wear white or brown. Please refer to Christmas Concert sheet from Ms. Tynan for more info) Wednesday, 12/18: Class party, no snack needed. Red for a Bed Tag Day. No uniform-wear red and bring $1 to raise money for a bed for every child. Thursday, 12/19: Christmas Pajama Day. No uniform-wear your Christmas pajamas to school! No snack needed. Munchkins and chocolate milk for snack. Friday, 12/20: Half day of school, NO EXTENDED DAY. Everyone will be dismissed at 11:15 for Christmas Break. If your child will not be in school through Friday 12/20, kindly let me know beforehand to make sure we send them home with a little something before break! Some reminders: ~Arrival door opens at 8:00 and will be shut at 8:15. Dismissal door opens at 2:15 and will be shut at 2:25. Early dismissal is at 11:15. ~11/11 No school Veterans Day ~11/19 Picture Make up day ~11/27 Early release day. All students will be dismissed at 11:15, no extended day. Thanksgiving Break begins ~Mystery Readers will begin in December ~Parent Conferences: December 6th. No school for children on this day ~A sign up for mystery reader and parent conferences will be sent out soon Next week we will be continuing our OWL Unit: Friends. Our centers for next week are: ~Road construction vehicles (SCIENCE): Explores simple machines. Becomes aware of the roles, responsibilities and services provided by community workers. ~Sand Castle Molds (SAND) ~Painting with primary colors (ART): Creates artwork to express ideas.
