Hello Families! Here is where you will find our center based activities from our OWL Curriculum. These are the centers that we would be doing in our classroom and can be easily modified to be done at home too! Necessary supplies, preparations, and suggested vocabulary and stories will be attached via photos below. I'll also include stories, prayers and songs to sing. (Most books can be found in a read aloud on youtube.com too!). Creating "I-Spy" Sculptures (ART): Creates three-dimensional artwork. Approaches tasks with inventiveness. Post Office (DRAMATIC PLAY): Becomes aware of the roles, responsibilities, and services provided by community workers. Uses language while participating in dramatic play. Letter & Postcard Supplies (WRITING): Writes for many purposes. Uses writing in the context of dramatic play. Composes or dictates messages. Exploring Sand (Sensory/Science): Observes and explores materials and objects. Asks questions, uses a variety or tool and materials to strengthen hand grasp, flexibility, and coordination. Describes physical properties of materials.
